This is a photo of my little garden shed. A fellow that lives just a few miles from us makes these. He makes them to be used as hunting sheds. He uses recycled leftover materials from his brother's construction business. There is a front door with a latch and three windows on the other sides. The windows lift up on the inside and can be latched to the ceiling to be held in place for the hunter to see out. I saw them placed near the road for sale and stopped to take a look. I was
instantly intrigued... I could see this in my back garden as a shed for my
garden tools.
It is placed where I think I want it to be, at the back of the garden just in front of the old goat pen. My composting pile is just to the right of it. I will have to have one of the boys get the old tractor going to move the pile further. Now it is time to figure how I want to develop this spot.
Last fall I threw together a grape vine wreath for the door so it didn't look so forlorn. I have some old wooden twin bed head and foot boards set near. Thinking I might use them as fencing to frame the area. Then, what to plant? How
to decorate it? Should I paint it or leave it rustic? Half the fun is the planning! If the weather cooperates this week I will get outside and start cleaning out the weeds around it and get to work.
